You have been an advocate for all that is fair and just and forward thinking since the day you first took a seat on the City Commission.
You have proudly and ably represented District. 4.
Your leadership preserved much-needed open space that could have become paved over for concrete tennis courts at Historic William Jennings Bryan Park.
You are a friend indeed.
We look forward to being part of your go-go team when it comes to advice for building a better city for people with disabilities (very, very much needs to be done and Miami could be a world-leader in creating a truly barrier-free environment built on universal design and inclusive mobility).
