The native of Akron, Ohio earned his first paycheck as a journalist before he was old enough to drive. As an award-winning journalist at the Columbus Dispatch, he started as the large newspaper's first full-time popular music critic. He worked as the Business Development Manager for a transportation engineering firm. Galleries have exhibited Wright's fine art photography of urban environments throughout Spain, Latin America, Tuscany and the United States.
