The Parc
Rives de Seine, with a total length of 7 kilomtres, extends along both sides of
the Seine and provides a place to walk and relax along the water, in the heart
of the city.
On the left
bank, wander from Pont d'Alma to the Pont Royal. On the right bank you can go
from Pont Neuf to the Pont du Sully, as well as the Arsenal basin between the Quai
de la Rapée and Place de la Bastille.
The Parc
Rives de Seine, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site that is only open to
'soft' trafic (pedestrians and bikes), is lined with activities (playgrounds
for children, picnic areas, terraces, cafes, climbing walls) and offers unusual
views of some of Paris's great monuments.
