ACCESS NEEDLESSLY BLOCKED
BY LENGTHY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Very sad situation at Elizabeth Virrick Park in Coconut Grove Miami.
A
construction fence blocks the only wheelchair accessible pathway connecting the
play area to the restrooms, library and parking.
The accessible pathway at this City of Miami park will be blocked for years by
construction.
Why is the
accessible/inclusive part always the last phase of a project?
Design for
all should be the first phase 100% of the time.
