People with disabilities have been great contributors to a culture and community because they have incredibly great sense of humor and positive attitudes.

Does that mean everyone in the community has those attributes? 

Of course not.

But as a general characteristic with the community, people with disabilities are great problem solvers and have great empathy for others.

These are the kinds of employees I want in my company, and many corporations are starting to recognize that.
