PRIME
LOCATION
You cannot
see the famed Copacabana Beach from the Ibis.
But you can crawl to it – it’s
that close.
If you mapped all elements to plot the perfect location, you would
have the Ibis Copa Posto 2.
It is off the beach to drive down the price point,
but close enough to all but crawl to the sand and sea.
It is surrounded by
local’s places, but just far enough away that you don’t hear the boisterous
music, voices and hoisting of glasses into the wee hours.
A block to the north,
and you have at least three supermarkets.
A couple blocks to the east and you
have pharmacies.
A couple blocks away and you’re in the tunnel heading toward a
major subway station that can transport you throughout the city for next to
nothing.
Taxis are always on the block, so you can catch a cab too.
Local
busses are nearby.
The fabled Copacabana Palace is super close, so you can do
its famed brunch or stop in for a drink.
Outstanding restaurants – casual and
luxe – are very close by and many are not tourist trap, thank heaven.
