The Ford family ultimately acquired the 1913 Beaux Arts-style Michigan Central train station landmark, which had sat empty since 1988, and recently reopened it.
The building will house 50 percent Ford employees and 50 percent innovations companies.
By 2024, it will anchor a 5,000 employee, 30-acre innovation
district in Corktown, Detroit’s oldest neighborhood.
