Very impressed with the new Shenandoah Park Aquatic Center, managed by the City of Miami, Department of Parks and Recreation.
Two pool
lifts and ramped accessibility for people with disabilities.
We trust
every lifeguard and staffer at the pool has been highly trained to safely use
the pool lifts.
Every wheelchair user has had the situation when they have every right to use a facility, but are told to come back the next day – because the only person who knows how to use the lift is off till then.
