first.
State what your issue is and what result you’re seeking.
If you are
vague, unclear and angry, you will not be setting the stage for allowing
officials to help you.
State that you will be checking back on progress toward
resolving your issue.
Resist the temptation to copy every city official under
the sun.
Doing that is likely to get you dismissed as a crack pot.
