When Driving is Not an Option Author Anna Zivarts said in an interview with Planning Magazine, noting
that nondrivers are often ignored, stigmatized, or treated like second-class
citizens.
"If we recognized that disability, income, age, and
other factors mean that at least 25 percent of people in the U.S. are
nondrivers, we could create much more inclusive communities."
