Regarding remote closings, we remain in continued
communication with organizations representing real estate attorneys, financial institutions
and title insurers to ensure that closings can continue across the state,” NCR’s
Palmer added.
“This has included recommending
clarifications to local orders to require that Register of Deeds offices remain
open in some fashion, as well as any additional allowances for closings to be
completed in a timely fashion.”
