We didn’t
know what to think when we booked Hotel Verite for a business stay in New York.
Opened in
2011, the TripAdvisor ratings seemed favorable – a strong four out of five
stars on average.
We hate the
usual cookie cutter chain hotels, even when on business.
But at $300
per night, we hoped the Verite better not be a glorified flop house with a cool
lobby and some barely remade rooms.
The tiny
property has fewer than 20 rooms on four floors.
Located on
19th Street between Broadway of Fifth Avenue, it has a prized
location for business, dining, shopping, transit and more.
