HOTEL VERITE NEW YORK -- PART 3

THE PERFECT BOUTIQUE HOTEL FOR UNION SQUARE, THE FLATIRON DISTRICT AND BEYOND

We worried about ancient plumbing with barely a trickle of hot water in the shower.

We were checking in on the heels of a blizzard – we needed a hot shower to thaw our chilled bones.

The front desk staffer/bellman led us to our room.
The elevator was large and modern – check.

The person was pleasant and explained that the property had no restaurant, but he could arrange delivery – check.

He explained the modern keys – just tap them in a spot and the door opened – check.

He further showed us that the door rang an alarm if it wasn’t shut tightly, so no accidental theft if you don’t lock up – check.

Hotel Verite thumbs up review continues tomorrow November 25
