THE ST. REGIS MEXICO CITY – PART 11

SIMPLY THE BEST HOTEL

The affable, fully bilingual top hatted doorman arranged for car service for our evening meals.

It was splurge we cannot afford every day, but it was worth it for the safety, comfort and drivers who were outstanding about getting Heidi into their vehicles and gently stowing her folding wheelchair in roomy trunk to protect it from damage.

During the daytime, we took radio cabs to Mexico City’s incomparable museums, parks, buildings, public spa sea, markets, authentic restaurants and neighborhoods.

The St. Regis doorman was always careful to summon a cab with room enough to store Heidi's wheelchair and a driver skilled enough to navigate the city's a unearthly traffic while dropping us off right at the doorstep of our urban destinations.

Review of the unparalleled St. Regis Mexico City Hotel continues tomorrow December 17.
