PlusUrbia’s Manuel de Lemos has taken it upon himself to propose changes to the urban built environment in his native Puerto Rico for the better.
As he
mentioned in a Facebook post, the intersection at the Walmart in Santurce is a
danger for pedestrians.
He called upon applying Complete Streets design
guidelines at the intersection to provide a better connection for residents in
the community and provided the following sketch.
